All desktop shortcut open trashcan

Hi,

I have recently bought and installed windows 10 in Lenovo computer since 2 weeks. On last Saturday, I figured when I just start up the windows 10 and double-clicked any shortcuts on desktop, it will open up the trashcan instead of the normal application and I cannot scroll down with the mouse on MS word, excel, chrome, firefox etc... It is a very strange problem. Then I typed in something in the very bottom row in an excel file and I can start scrolling down again. And all shortcuts returned to normal. I have applied windows update several days ago. Can anyone please help provide a solution and what happen? Thanks a lot.

Scroll Lock key
Page Up and Page Down keys
Arrow Up and Down keys
To see if any are stuck or sticking.

I found that I could "fix" the problem just by pressing Page Up once. All the symptoms cleared immediately.
