It's possible to change the sensitivity of the mouse so that the cursor is more or less responsive to your input movements. Sometimes a change or mouse or trackpad requires a little tweaking to get the cursor movements to your liking, but the settings are buried a little deeper than you may expect in Windows 10.
To begin, click the start button and select Settings:
Then select Devices:
Now click Mouse from the side bar and select Additional Mouse Options:
Then click the Pointer Options tab and move the Motion slider to the desired setting. By default, the slider sits in the middle of the bar - but you can make the mouse more responsive by dragging it towards the "fast" option, or slow it down by doing the opposite. Once you're done, click OK to apply the settings:
